Corporate Social Responsibility

“We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give” – Winston Churchill

Corporate social responsibility at Nashua Zimbabwe begins with our concern for the welfare of our workers, however it does not end there.

In doing what we do at Nashua, we have indeed created a living and source of income for our many employees, however there needs to more meaning to our daily lives than waking up to work. It is essential to give back into the communities around us and in this search, we have found many opportunities to help and continue to do so.

Helping the poor and less privileged institutions like The Jairos Jiri Primary school for the disabled in Harare, The Mbuya Nehanda orphanage in Melfort, Ruwa and St Vincent Secondary school in Goromonzi, are some of the institutions that have benefited from our social responsibility programs.

The distribution of soccer and rugby kits/uniforms to upcoming and established schools in all provinces of the country highlights the support we have given to communities.
Beneficiaries of our endeavors have also received donations of copiers, printers and stationery which donations have gone a long way in addressing the office solution needs of their institutions.

Our motto and philosophy is that by reaching out to the needy, sharing their plight and predicaments, we strive to make a difference in the lives of the less privileged members of our society. When we touch their hearts, we know we would have done our part as we endeavor to fulfill our social responsibility policy premised on our concern for the less privileged members of our community.
